Paulette Gets Inspirational For Heros

Paulette Sedgwick has been writing poetry for several years. Her recent poem was published in a charity Anthologie, the money raised will go towards ‘The ‘Golden Grove Appeal‘, a remarkable charity who are determined to set up the first Welsh convalescent home for servicemen and women affected mentally and emotionally by the traumas of conflict.

The Grove Appeal was set up by Kevin Richards, an ex-combat medic who saw the need for this much-needed facility in Wales.  The charity hopes to purchase the Grade II listed mansion near Llandeilo, situated within one hundred acres of a beautiful country park, for use as a treatment facility for our armed forces personnel and veterans, who are suffering from PTSD (post traumatic Stress disorder) also to provide convalescence.  At present there is no such facility in Wales.

The charity has been given a short period of time to raise the required cost of purchase and the fund-raising continues in earnest.  The tenacity and determination of the charity and it’s fundraiser have been inspirational as too have the authors who came forward to write a poem for this book called, ”United In Inspiration”.
